"Peace On Earth" version 2 by Mike Daly
Mike Daly Christmas album is only 35 minutes long,, but it includes some of the best recorded steel guitar I've ever heard. Each of these familiar tunes is played in a different style, with different instrumentation including C6th and E9th pedal steel, dobro and finger-style acoustic guitar. There are strong jazz, classical and bluegrass influences - not your typical Christmas arrangements.
There was an earlier version of this CD with fewer songs. The new album two new songs, additional players on a few tracks, and has been remixed and remastered by the same team who worked on "Rock of Ages".
